We want to put Scotland on the map for enterprise, and we need you to help us make it happen. Been there? Done that? This is your chance to share your experiences with the new talent of Scotland, and sit alongside some of the big lead business partners that will try to turn blueprints into working services and products this Spring.

Through four StramashLab events in early 2012, teams of geeks, ideas people and Scottish businesses are thirsty for your stories of success, failure, dos and don’ts. Come along to a StramashLab event and be the guide, critical friend and role model these people need to make their dream a reality. You never know, you might find yourself drawn into a team that wins investment.

We need mentors who specialise in:

• finance
• investment
• business development
• design

1. Sign up as a mentor
When you sign up as a mentor your photo profile will feature on our mentors page immediately, and you can specify what areas you’re able to help on and how much time you’re ready to commit. Whether it’s five minutes on Skype, a commitment to email for 8 weeks, or attending a StramashLab for a day, it all helps to move hundreds of fresh ideas on to becoming real, tangible services and products.

2. Attend a StramashLab event
We’re running four StramashLab events around the country to bring you together with smart new talent in technology, ideas people, social media gurus and investors. Sign up to join one or more of the events:

Edinburgh: March 9th
Dundee: March 10th
Aberdeen: March 17th
Glasgow: March 17th

You can come for part of the day, or the whole day, one event or all four. There will be plenty of time during the day to get to know some of the bigger businesses that are working with new talent on developing ideas, and a networking event at the close of the day.
